Environmental Commitment

Being ecologically sustainable is not only a matter of social responsibility, but also an opportunity for companies to stand out in the market, attract environmentally conscious consumers and create long-term value for their business.

Environmental certifications offer a way for companies to demonstrate their commitment and to distinguish themselves from the competition in the market of the future.

These certifications cover a wide range of areas, including energy efficiency, waste management, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and many others.

Mandarin has begun a process of plant and product certification through which it intends to optimize its environmental impact.

FSC extension

FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification is an international standard of responsible forest management, which aims to promote forest conservation and the sustainable management of forest resources. The FSC was created in 1993 by environmental, social and sector organizations, and today represents one of the main standards of responsible forest management at a global level.

To obtain FSC certification, a company must commit to respecting the principles and criteria of responsible forest management defined by the FSC standard. These criteria include the conservation of natural forests, the protection of indigenous and local community rights, the responsible management of forest resources and the promotion of sustainable forest management practices.
